Hey, i'm an American. Long time soccer fan and am starting to get into Serie A. I follow the closest MLS team to me here in the states and am a fan of Tottenham in the Premier League. I've been looking for a Serie A team to follow and have it narrowed down to Fiorentina or Sampdoria. I'm pretty stuck though i'm posting this in hopes of finding out some more information on Fiorentina.
What makes it a good club to support? What is the fan culture like? If you're not from Italy, why did you choose to support Fiorentina? Any other cool things about the club that might sway me one way or the other.
From what i've learned about the club so far, I like that they have a pretty strong fan base. Seem to have passionate fans, who aren't too radical. I definitely am not looking for a right-wing club like Lazio or something. I've watched several YouTube videos and it appears the club plays pretty attractive football. I have found a few players I like watching.
