With makings fastidious and high price, the authentic football shirts should be washed separetly by hand. Put the jersey into warm water, add the right amount of detergent to the water and let the jersys soak for about 10 minutes. Then flip the jersey and wash it by hand. In the process of washing, i would pay attention to washing the inner layer of the jersey. After all, the inner layer, which is used to absorb sweat, is more likely to cause smearing easily. At last, we should wash the jersey several times in cold water.

Actually, the jerseys which most of you buy is the fans version. Some football fans may have bought the expensive player-version jersey(exactly the same as the player's wearing in the game). The inner layer of some player-version jerseys has deeper color. For example, the color of AC Milan jersey should partly run in the first washing, it's normal, but don't put the jersey together with other clothes when washing.

Maintenance:
We should hang the jersey with coat hanger to avoid appearing wrinkles on the number when folded, and then cover it with a plastic bag to avoid exposure. What else imortant, don't iron the jersey which has number print or the player-version jersey. In that case, the number and the logo print will be dissolved and variant by the high temperature.(Source:http://www.footballtshirtuk.com/index.php?route=information/news&news_id=36)
